A Montana View is my many "points of view" of the world shared through the internet. I would like to help you create and share your "view(s)."
 
My passion is the outdoors and I am a current Master Naturalist. I love to hike, ski, hunt, fish, bike, and of course take photographs of the outdoors, flora and fauna. I also enjoy food and want to share recipes that are great family meals, but also can be repurposed as take-out meals for outdoor adventures.
 
My love of computers and the internet, allows me to share my passions with the world. I do this through pictures and words.
As an entrepreneur, my goal is to help you do the same; to be your web coach.
 
My niche is using free or inexpensive options and social networks for websites, blogging, photos and their placement and optimization on the web. Let me walk you through the many options I have found and show you how to choose and use them.
 
I am available for complete web projects or I can coach you on learning to do your own web presence.

How I got started 
 
In 1996, I needed to create and maintain a web presence - website and blog - for Wapiti Waters Fly Fishing and after paying someone else, I realized I wanted more creative control.  In the last 13 years I have learned to do web design, placement & optimization, and marketing.   
How you can get started
 
If you are interested in a lower cost web presence, I would like to help you get it. I can do all or some of the design and work for you. You can step in at anytime to take over, I will teach you what you need to know and continue coaching you as long as you would like.
This site, A Montana View, is on Microsoft Office Live because it is another low cost option I want to share with you. Some of the other sites are on paid providers, and they can be an excellent option depending on your needs. I do recommend using a paid provider that is in your local area and that you know well. I believe you will get much better service and value.
